This Week at Alpha II
This Week at Alpha II
October 23, 2026
This week we were buzzing along, now that we are in the rhythm of things. Hartley got the school of rock going with Milo on drums, Audrey on bass playing “Fire” from video Geometry Dash.
Pickle People kept pickling, new pickles were made and old pickles were tested. Shoutout to Milo, Manus and Jeremy who are in pickle production mode.
Milo learned that eating a pickled reaper pepper could cause death by spice. Thankfully, we have enough yogurt to put out any spice fires.
Thank you to the parent community for coming in to chat with the mentors about your kiddos. Our parent/mentor interview day was a success. We love connecting with parents and learning more about our mentees.
Next week is packed with Fall Fun to wrap up the month. Make sure you check out the calendar to know what is happening throughout the week!
Upcoming Next Week
- Tuesday, October 27: Fall Funday – Haunted Walking Tour (Full School Field Trip)
- Wednesday, October 28: Wildwood Film Viewing at Cineplex (Afternoon)
- Thursday, October 29: Coraline Movie PJ Party (Morning) and Pumpkin Carving (Afternoon)
- Halloween Dress-Up Day: Date not specified
A Note from Your Mentor Team
Field Trip Forms!
Please make sure you send your kid back with field trip forms for our WHOLE SCHOOL Fall Funday. A reminder that this is a way for us to celebrate our second pillar of Alpha II – Community.
The school will be closed on Tuesday, October 27 for this event. Encourage your child to come.
We have so many fun things coming up here next week. Make sure your child takes full advantage of all the fun spooky things!
Thanks again to parents who connected with us to discuss your child and chat about ways we can best support and mentor your child. We are super grateful for such a great parent community!
