Week two at Alpha II was busy, creative, a lil’ salty.
The mentee binders have been handed out! Let alllllll the thinking and planning begin!
We made pickles, not once, but twice, testing out our recipes and getting ready to enter our very best into Picklefest! The kitchen adventures didn’t stop there: cucumber/dill salad (school-grown veggies again!) and some tasty banana bread getting made as well.
Self-direction was also afoot: mentees were busy recording tracks in the studio, sewing, organizing and sorting supplies, working on film projects, and diving into all kinds of magic.
It’s been great seeing the space come alive again as everyone settles into the rhythm of the year—trying things out, making things, collaborating, and finding new projects to get excited about.
A very full Week Two at A2. We are off to bring all the brine-y glory back from Picklefest!
